Privacy Policy
Effective March 24, 2026
1. Information We Collect
When you subscribe to The Convergence Report, we collect the email address you provide. This is the primary personal information we retain in connection with your subscription relationship.
Payment information — including credit card numbers, billing addresses, and related financial data — is processed exclusively by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Conscient Group LLC never sees, stores, or has access to your full payment card details. All payment transactions occur directly through Stripe's secure, PCI-compliant infrastructure.
We also collect basic, anonymized analytics data including page views, click patterns, time-on-page, and referral sources. This data is aggregated and used solely to understand how readers interact with our content and to improve our service. Analytics data is not linked to individual identities.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your email address is used to deliver The Convergence Report weekly intelligence briefing to your inbox. Each edition is sent on a scheduled weekly basis and contains the credibility-weighted financial analysis described on our website.
We use your email to facilitate subscription payment processing, including routing payment confirmation and receipt communications through Stripe. We also send transactional emails such as welcome messages upon subscription, payment receipts, subscription renewal notices, and account management communications. These transactional emails are a necessary part of the subscription relationship and are not marketing solicitations.
Aggregated, anonymized analytics data is used internally to improve our content quality, refine our editorial focus, and enhance the overall user experience of the publication and website.
3. Third-Party Services
We work with a small number of trusted third-party service providers to operate The Convergence Report. Stripe handles all payment processing and subscription management on our behalf and is subject to their own privacy policy and data handling practices. Resend provides our email delivery infrastructure, ensuring your weekly briefing reaches your inbox reliably. Vercel hosts our website and serves our web content.
We do not sell, rent, license, or share your personal information — including your email address — with any third parties for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes. Your information is shared with service providers only to the extent necessary to provide you with the services you have subscribed to.
4. AI-Generated Content Disclosure
The Convergence Report employs artificial intelligence systems in its research and content production pipeline, including multi-model verification for data accuracy. Our process involves automated gathering and cross-referencing of publicly available information from sources including SEC EDGAR filings, SEDI/SEDAR+ disclosures, Form 4 insider transaction records, and public statements. AI-generated analysis undergoes quality review before publication.
However, AI systems may produce errors, omissions, or inaccuracies despite quality controls. All content published in The Convergence Report is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice. Readers should independently verify any data, analysis, or conclusions before making financial decisions of any kind.
5. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies necessary for the operation of our website. These include session management cookies that allow the site to function properly and anonymous analytics cookies that help us understand aggregate visitor behavior. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels for ad retargeting, or any cookies designed to build individual behavioral profiles for commercial purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain your email address and subscription information for as long as your subscription remains active. Upon unsubscription, your email address is removed from our active distribution lists. Payment records and transaction histories are retained for the period required by applicable law, including tax and financial reporting obligations, which typically extends seven years from the transaction date. Analytics data is stored in aggregated, anonymized form and does not constitute personal data subject to retention limitations.
7. Your Rights
You may unsubscribe from The Convergence Report at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in the footer of every email we send. Unsubscription takes effect promptly and you will not receive further editorial communications after that point.
You may request deletion of your personal data — including your email address and any associated subscription records — by emailing us at contact@theconvergence.report. We will acknowledge your request and complete data deletion within 30 days. Note that certain financial transaction records may be retained as required by law even after a deletion request.
8. Children's Privacy
The Convergence Report is a financial intelligence publication directed at adult investors and financial professionals. It is not directed at, designed for, or marketed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a person under 13, we will promptly delete that information.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. In the event of material changes — changes that meaningfully affect how we collect, use, or share your personal information — we will notify active subscribers via email prior to or concurrent with the effective date of the changes. Continued use of The Convergence Report following notification of material changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
